Introduction
This programme is designed to equip graduates with the information and skills necessary to create, convey, and deliver value propositions to target consumers (N/345/7/0986)(MQA/FA8333)(11/21).
PBS is the pioneer institution to offer this programme. Graduates will be awarded a PBS MBA degree and CMI membership and a Certified Professional Marketer (CPM) Asia certification.
The collaboration with Institute of Marketing Malaysia (IMM) contributes towards achieving PBS’ objective of nurturing human leaders.

Admission Requirements
Applicants must possess one of the following qualifications:
- A recognised Bachelor’s degree [Level 6, Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF)] with minimum CGPA of 2.75 or its equivalent as accepted by the PBS senate; or
- A recognised Bachelor’s degree with a CGPA below 2.75 but not lower than 2.50 will only be considered based on a strict internal assessment (including test, interview or portfolio); or
- A recognised Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) or equivalent not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to minimum 5 years of working experience in relevant field; or
- A recognised Postgraduate Certificate’s degree or its equivalent; or
- Other qualifications approved by the PBS Senate.
Note: In compliance with the latest regulatory requirements (https://bit.ly/MQA2nd – please refer to pages 38 & 39) students are required to complete a Pre-Requisite Course (PRC). It is compulsory for students to attend and pass this course before/while pursuing their studies at PBS. The purpose of this course is to equip the students with basic business knowledge in order to prepare them for the programme and students are required to pay a fee of RM 500.00 before registering for PRC. Applicable to those who do not have a business or management background. (Not applicable to exchange students).

INSTITUTE OF MARKETING MALAYSIA (IMM)
The Institute of Marketing Malaysia (IMM) is the only registered institute in the country established for the purpose of serving the marketing fraternity in Malaysia. IMM was founded in 1977 by YBM Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, who also became the Institute’s first Patron. Currently, the Patron of IMM is YB. Datuk Ignatius Darell Leiking, former Minister of International Trade and Industry Malaysia.
As the national professional body for sales and marketing practitioners, IMM’s mission is to promote marketing as a philosophy of business, to enhance the professional standards of marketing practices, and to be the leading centre for marketing in the region.
IMM is responsible for the promotion of efficient and effective marketing management practices in Malaysia, the administration of the Institute’s membership, the safeguard and advancement of its members’ interests, and the enhancement of the professional image of sales and marketing practitioners.
IMM is a member of the Asia Marketing Federation (AMF), a recognised body which was set up in 1991 and whose members comprise sixteen (16) national marketing bodies from the Asian region. The members of AMF are Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. The Institute is also a member of the World Marketing Association (WMA).
